We are currently looking to hire an ambitious Inside Sales Representative to take responsibility for identifying new business opportunities, supporting marketing lead generation, contributing to sales pipeline development and fully supporting and taking part in day to day sales activities.  This position supports the outside sales representative group as well as supports and works directly with customers.  Training will be provided, activity based bonuses and possible move to Outside Sales Representative based on growth and potential. 

What you will be doing

  • Reviewing due-to-order reports and contacting those customers that are due to order.
  • Increasing sales by acquiring new customers through prospecting and cross selling existing customers.
  • Sourcing and preparing proposals.
  • Documenting and keeping Salesforce data base up to date.
  • Cold calling and networking to develop relationships within targeted accounts. This position is responsible for setting 4 new qualified appointments for the Outside Sales Representative every month.
  • Actively listening to customers/prospects to uncover business/operational pain points.
  • Collaborating with Outside Sales Representatives to move projects to close.
  • Keeping pricing matrix up to date.
  • Professionally handling incoming phone calls.
  • Sending out price increase announcements.

What you will need

  • 2 or more years of B2B selling experience suggested but not required.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent B2B inside sales/customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of or other CRM related applications preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV is preferred
  • Excellent verbal skills – ability to speak clearly, confidently, and professionally both on the telephone and in-person regarding companies products and services.
  • Writing skills – ability to write clearly and succinctly, to adapt writing style to match the audience, and to develop proposals.
  • Ability to quickly connect with prospects and create trusted relationships.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Track record of uncovering opportunities and collaborating with sales teams to close sales & hitting sales targets.
  • Positive attitude, team oriented, self-starter who can work alone and in a collaborative manner to achieve team goals.
