OvalStrapping

Ovalstrapping has earned a reputation for quality
packaging equipment and
superior service since its beginning in 1952.
The name "Ovalstrapping" originated from a unique wire
process we developed that utilized an oval shaped wire
with a high degree of strength. The oval shape, having
a minor axis similar to flat steel strapping, offered
less resistance in conforming to the shape of the
package than round wire. Yet it still offered the
economics of wire as opposed to flat steel strapping.
In 1978, Ovalstrapping
introduced a line of high
quality polypropylene strapping equipment. Since that
time, our engineering department has made significant
technological advances to provide several of the
fastest and most reliable strappers available to the
packaging industry.
Ovalstrapping has a wide range of equipment and we are
able to serve a variety of customers from newspapers
to binderies, the meat and poultry industry, the
postal service, food industries, woodworking industry,
and the pulp and paper mills. In fact we are able to
serve practically any industry that could benefit from
the use of wire or plastic strap. Our in-house
engineering department allows us to meet the specific
needs of our customers.
In addition to our extensive line of packaging
equipment, we manufacture and supply a variety of 100%
PVC matting. Our line of industrial safety matting is
slip resistant and its ergonomic properties have been
scientifically proven. We also carry a line of
compartment matting used in a variety of industries
including boat and emergency vehicle manufacturing.
Ovalstrapping continues to recognize the need for high
quality products and engineered systems. We will
continue our dedication to customers, technical
service, engineering, research and development, and to
producing the highest quality equipment to the
industries we serve.
